THAI Smile fleet consists of 11 brand new Airbus A320-200 aircraft. Exterior and interior designs of the aircraft was developed by Priestmangoode, a world class UK company, which reflects fun and trendy concept of THAI Smile. Four aircraft will be delivered in 2012 with the first one coming in June.
Cabin
The THAI Smile fleet of Airbus A320-200 aircraft is configured for 2 classes of service. ‘Smile’ Economy Class consists of up to 156 seats 3 seats abreast in 2 rows divided by a single aisle. Seats are designed for maximum comfort and the entire cabin features vibrant and trendy colors that reflect the smart style of flying THAI Smile.
‘Smile Plus’ short haul business class service in the first rows of the aircraft for easy access features 16 seats on international flights and 12 seats on domestic flights. In each row the middle seat is always empty, providing more space and comfort for those traveling in ‘Smile Plus’.
"Smile" Inflight Services
In "Smile" Economy Class a complimentary beverage and sandwich or light snack are served on all flights. Cabin crew also offer Smile Cafe', a selection of hot and cold snacks, meals and beverages available for purchase.
"Smile Plus" Inflight Services
In "Smile Plus" short haul business class service there is not only more space and comfort with middle seats always being empty, but also a complimentary meal service on each flight. Enjoy a hot meal, accompanied by hot and cold beverages including water, soft drinks, coffee and tea. On international flights alcoholic beverages are also offered to "Smile Plus" passengers.
With 1 carry-on bag permitted, all passengers on THAI Smile flights are encouraged to bring reading materials as these are not provided. Electronic devices for entertainment are also welcome onboard and can be used during the flight except at take-off and landing.
