On April 22, 2014, Mr. Mark McCaughan, Chief Executive Officer of Merlot Aero Limited, met with Captain Woranate Laprabang, acting Chief Executive Officer of Thai Smile Airways Company Limited, at the Thai Airways International Head Office in Bangkok for a contract signing of the new operations system called “merlot.aero system”.
Merlot.aero is the Airline Operations Management Software to forecast, organise, plan, predict, measure and report on activities to optimise daily aircraft and crew utilisation of the airline.
Merlot.aero is now established in 12 countries and has sales and service offices in Auckland and Seattle. Cloud-based airline operations management guru, merlot.aero, continues its roll through the USA, adding three more airlines within the first six weeks of 2014 and expanding on its record wins in the latter half of last year.
Thai Smile Airways will be operating the merlot.aero system which has revolutionised airline technology to ensure that the airline is prepared to embrace the long term objective as an airline that is safe, secure, scalable, sustainable, flexible, and profitable while providing good value to customers from June 1, 2014 onwards.
